Clients who don't speak Polish? ProsteKarnety now speaks English

The app and the web panel are available in English, and emails and notifications reach every client in their own language - no translating at the front desk.

Clients who don't speak Polish? ProsteKarnety now speaks English

When a client can't read their pass email

Exchange students at the pool, a family from abroad at the riding school, tourists on the slopes, expats in your yoga class - more and more venues have clients who don't speak Polish. Until now they got their pass email and reminders in Polish, and you were the one explaining at the front desk what they said.

ProsteKarnety now works in English too: the app, the web panel, and the messages sent to your clients. Here's how to set it up.

The app follows the phone's language

The app picks its language from the phone: on a phone set to Polish it runs in Polish, on any other phone it runs in English. A client from abroad doesn't have to set anything.

You can change the language at any time in Account Details → Language, choosing Polski or English. The choice is saved to the account, so it stays after reinstalling the app and on another phone. The web panel opens in the same language, and the Google sign-in screen appears in the app's language as well.

It works the same for your team. An employee who is more comfortable in English scans passes and books appointments in English, while you keep working in Polish.

Emails and notifications in the client's language

Every client gets messages in their own language - even if they don't use the app. This covers, among others:

  • the pass email and the PDF pass,
  • the reminder that a pass is about to expire,
  • notices that a pass has expired, been used up, extended or cancelled,
  • in-app notifications.

You set this in two places:

  1. Organization Settings → Communication language - the default language for newly added clients.
  2. Communication language on the client card (in edit mode) - the language of a single client. This is how you change it for clients already in the app.

If a client uses the app, they choose the language themselves in their own settings. Their card then shows Set by the customer in their own app - their choice takes priority, so it's one less thing for you to keep track of.

Most of your clients speak Polish? Keep Polish as the organization language and switch just the few clients from abroad. Running a ski school in a resort town where most guests come from abroad? Make English the default and switch individual clients to Polish.

Less translating, fewer questions

A client who understands their pass email doesn't need to ask how many entries are left or how long the pass is valid. The expiry reminder finally does its job, because the client knows what it says. And you no longer have to act as the interpreter at the front desk.

Update the app to the latest version or download it. Every change, month by month, is in the changelog.
